A Collaborative Event between the University of Edinburgh and University of Liège
What: A two-day symposium for social science researchers, policymakers, and practitioners sponsored by the University of Edinburgh Academy of Government (AoG) and School of Social and Political Science, and the University of Liège Institute of Research of Social Sciences
During the Knowledge, Organisations, and Policy symposium we want to shed light on the production of social policies by policymakers and the translation of social policies into concrete practices by practitioners at both the policy and organisational levels. We intend to examine policymakers’ and practitioners’ work in using, producing, translating, and circulating knowledge, as well as how social science researchers contribute at the core of social policies.
We are seeking contributions for presentations by PhD or early-career researchers from a variety of disciplines. We invite you to submit an abstract of 250 words or less for a 15 minute presentation that fits broadly within one of the following areas:
The Call for Abstracts (250 words or less) is now open to PhD or early career researchers for 10-minute presentations. Abstract submission deadline: Monday, 20 February 2017.
