Richard Freeman teaches theory and method in the Graduate School, as well as courses in politics, policy and practice.  He is currently Guest Professor in the Department of Political Science, University of Vienna, and was recently Visiting Professor at the Institute for Higher Studies, Vienna (2013).  He has been a Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre, European University Institute, Florence (1999), a Fulbright New Century Scholar (2002), Research Fellow at the Hanse Institute for Advanced Study, Bremen (2005-2010), Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine, Yale University (2007-2010) and Visiting Professor, Institut d'Etudes Politiques ('Sciences Po'), Paris (2008-2009).
