Richard Freeman teaches theory and method in the Graduate School, as well as courses on the Masters in Public Policy.  He was recently Visiting Professor at the Institute for Higher Studies, Vienna (2013) and has been a Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre, European University Institute, Florence (1999), a Fulbright New Century Scholar (2002), Research Fellow at the Hanse Institute for Advanced Study, Bremen (2005-2010), Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine, Yale University (2007-2010) and Visiting Professor, Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po'), Paris (2008-2009).  He was formerly Director of the University's Public Policy Network, and is now Co-Director of the Academy of Government.
