Overview

RECWOWE (Reconciling Work and Welfare in Europe) is a Network of Excellence funded by the European Commission (FP6). It brings together researchers from 29 partner universities and research institutions from 17 countries in Europe (see RECWOWE).

The Publication and Dissemination Centre (PUDISCwowe) aims to provide a resource for RECWOWE participants and other researchers working on issues of work and welfare in Europe who seek to disseminate and publicise ongoing research. The aim of this action is also to offer an outlet for the publication and review of work in progress, through the establishment and management of the on-line high quality ‘Working Papers’ series. Finally, PUDISCwowe wants to strengthen the internal cohesiveness and external openness of the Network, for example via the publication of a Newsletter.

PUDISCwowe is directed by Daniel Clegg (University of Edinburgh; daniel.clegg@ed.ac.uk) and Ramon Pena-Casas (Observatoire social europeen Bruxelles; penacasas@ose.be) and managed by Alexander Goerne (University of Edinburgh; alexander.goerne@ed.ac.uk).
