Research interests

Pakistanis are the second minority in UK. About 1 million Pakistanis are living in the UK. My Ph.D research focuses on what are the push and pull factors of migration of Pakistanis to the UK. Their living condition, status, level of adjustment, problems they are facing in the UK and the impact of culture diffusion on the mental health of the Pakistanis. I am sure this research will draw on academic theory relating to migration and its impact on mental health.
