Dispute behaviour of migrant and urban workers in China

Research interests:

I am interested in investigating the civil justice system from a socio-legal perspective. My PhD research focuses on the dispute behaviour of Chinese workers, especially the inequality of dispute resolution between migrant and urban workers. The different patterns of their dispute behaviours will been interpreted empirically based on three theoretical assumptions: is there a dual legal system, dual labour market or different sets of legal culture residing in the two groups of workers.
